Porous Pipe Connectors and Fittings (for 16mm OD / 12.5mm ID Pipes)

A complete range of compatible connectors and fittings is essential for efficient and leak-free installation of porous pipes. The most commonly used fittings for 16mm porous pipe (OD 17.5mm, ID 12.5mm) include:

• Barbed Connectors (Straight) – Used to join two pipe lengths securely.

• T-connectors (Barbed T) – For branching lines in T-shape layouts.

• L-connectors (Elbows) – Ideal for 90° bends in the layout.

• End Plugs / End Caps – Used to seal pipe ends.

• Joiners / Couplers – Straight joiners to extend pipe length.

• Adapters (Threaded to Barbed) – Connect porous pipe to standard BSP/NPT fittings.

• Clamps or Lock Rings – Optional for higher pressure connections, to prevent slippage.

All fittings should ideally be barbed type to grip the porous material firmly and ensure a watertight fit. It’s recommended to match fittings made specifically for micro-irrigation or drip systems.
